IBERFOIL secures its operations through its internal supply chain
In a geopolitical context where aluminium availability has become increasingly strategic, IBERFOIL secures its supply through an efficient, sustainable production model based on the Circular Economy.
To this end, IBERFOIL has developed a fully integrated internal supply chain that enables it to guarantee continuity of supply, maintain flexible and continuous production, and respond quickly to demand. This autonomy is key to sustaining operations and responsiveness in an environment marked by raw material volatility and uncertainty in global markets.
This is made possible by its IBERFOIL INTEGRA project, which, through a melting process, transforms aluminium scrap into sustainable aluminium coils that are subsequently rolled to manufacture a wide range of products. In this way, the company completes the production cycle and minimises dependence on external suppliers.
Thanks to this circular approach, IBERFOIL strengthens its raw material autonomy and significantly reduces its carbon footprint—by 87% compared to primary aluminium. The project also incorporates a “Zero Waste” system, whereby all aluminium offcuts are reintroduced into the production process. This approach enables the company to maintain a robust internal supply chain, ensuring continuity of supply and operational stability.
Through INTEGRA, IBERFOIL consolidates an autonomous, efficient and resilient industrial model, aligned with the current challenges of the sector.
