IBERFOIL PARTICIPATES IN THE PROGRAMME: STEP PRIORITY “CLEAN AND EFFICIENT TECHNOLOGIES”

IBERFOIL has carried out the project “Improvement of the ABB Stressometer System of the Edelweiss Rolling Mill”, an initiative aimed at optimising flatness measurement and increasing signal reliability during the aluminium rolling process.

Thanks to this technological improvement, IBERFOIL strengthens the quality of the final product, reduces reprocessing and scrap, and improves the overall efficiency of the production process. In addition, the project contributes to more efficient use of resources, promoting the implementation of clean and sustainable technologies in IBERFOIL’s industrial activity.

An investment of €72,500.00 has been made for this project, with EU funding (grant received) of €29,000.00.
